Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with strong coding skills and hands-on experience in developing test documents, test cases, and automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux systems, data handling algorithms, and system-level programming. Exposure to storage technologies, particularly NVMe, is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software and system performance.

- Create comprehensive test documents and test cases from functional requirements.

- Write efficient and scalable code in Python for automation purposes.

- Handle data efficiently using strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

- Perform testing and debugging on Linux systems, including working with system-level programs and drivers.

- Document testing results and prepare detailed technical reports.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve automation processes.

Desired Skills :

- Excellent programming skills in Python.

- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

- Proficiency in Linux systems and comfortable with CLI operations and system-level programming.

- Strong communication and technical writing skills.

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Advantages / Plus Points :

- Experience in black-box and system-level testing.

- Prior experience in the storage domain, especially NVMe, is a strong plus.

- Exposure to performance benchmarking or storage testing tools.

Qualifications :

- B.E. in Computer Science or a related discipline.

- 3 - 8 years of relevant industry experience in software automation, system-level testing, or storage systems.
