Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with strong expertise across Manual, Automation, API, UI, Performance, and Database testing. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and messaging queue validation to ensure high-quality delivery in complex, event-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for API, UI, and backend systems.

- Perform end-to-end automation using tools such as REST Assured, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

- Execute manual testing when required to validate edge cases, business logic, and system integrity.

- Conduct performance testing using JMeter or similar tools to ensure system resilience and scalability.

- Validate data flows and functional accuracy through thorough database testing (SQL/NoSQL).

- Work with Kafka or other messaging queues to validate events in distributed, event-driven architectures.

- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case design for new and existing features.

- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, including defect prevention, test optimization, and documentation.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs through systematic root-cause analysis.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing automation coverage and test efficiency.

Required Skillsets :

- Strong experience in Manual + Automation Testing across functional and non-functional areas.

- Expertise in API automation using REST Assured.

- Hands-on experience with UI automation using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress.

- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter or equivalent.

- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.

- Experience validating event-driven systems using Kafka or similar messaging queues.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automated test suites in pipelines.

- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, testing techniques, and processes.

- Ability to analyze complex systems, identify edge cases, and build robust automation solutions.
