Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong Core Java expertise and knowledge of PAC/ZNT-based integration architectures.

The role focuses on building high-performance backend systems for shopfloor connectivity and real-time data processing, with exposure to MES platforms like Siemens Opcenter.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain PAC/ZNT-based integration applications using Core Java

- Build scalable backend services for real-time shopfloor data processing

- Develop REST APIs and middleware for MES and equipment integration

- Handle high-frequency data streams and ensure system scalability

- Integrate with databases and enterprise systems (ERP/MES)

- Collaborate with automation, MES, and equipment teams

- Troubleshoot performance, communication, and system issues

- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability

Required Skills (Must-Have) :

- Core Development & Integration

- Strong proficiency in Core Java

Hands-on experience with :

- Multithreading & concurrency

- Collections framework

- Exception handling

- Performance tuning & memory management

- Experience working with PAC/ZNT or similar integration frameworks

- Strong understanding of real-time data processing systems

Backend & API Development :

- REST API development (JSON/XML)

- Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL)

- Understanding of distributed systems / microservices

Good to Have :

- MES & Platform

- Exposure to Siemens Opcenter or similar MES platforms

- Understanding of ISA-95

- Equipment Integration

- Exposure to SECS/GEM (SEMI standards)

- Basic understanding of equipment communication (events, alarms, data collection)
