Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented JavaScript Automation Engineer with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in automated testing frameworks such as Taiko, Gauge, and PactumJS.

This role requires a passion for quality, strong technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset.

The ideal candidate will also be experienced in CI/CD pipelines and performance testing using tools like k6.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Taiko, Gauge, and PactumJS.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and create comprehensive test strategies.

- Design and implement regression, functional, and performance tests for web-based applications.

- Participate in code reviews, ensuring that testing standards and quality are maintained.

- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve them.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test strategies and processes.

- Ensure the integration of tests within CI/CD pipelines for faster delivery.

- Work with performance testing tools like k6 to assess and optimize application scalability.

Technical Skills Required (Mandatory) :

- Languages & Frameworks : JavaScript, Taiko, Gauge, PactumJS

- Testing Methodologies : Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Automation Framework Development

- Performance Testing : Hands-on experience with k6

- Version Control : Git or equivalent

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with API testing

- Familiarity with modern test design principles and mocking/stubbing strategies

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum software development methodologies

- Basic knowledge of containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 5-10 years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing roles
