Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Automation Developer to design, develop, and enhance automation solutions supporting IBM MQ Queue Manager migration initiatives. The role will focus on integrating automation tools, scripts, APIs, and AI-assisted capabilities into a unified, scalable, end-to-end migration framework.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop automation solutions for IBM MQ migration activities.

- Integrate multiple automation tools, scripts, and workflows into a unified migration framework.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell, and PowerShell.

- Build APIs and connectors for seamless orchestration and tool integration.

- Automate migration discovery, assessment, execution, validation, and reporting.

- Implement AI-assisted automation to improve migration efficiency and decision-making.

- Develop reusable automation components and frameworks for future migration programs.

- Collaborate with MQ Administrators, Solution Architects, Infrastructure Teams, and Business Stakeholders.

- Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues across migration projects.

- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and automated deployments.

- Create technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.

- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, compliance, and operational standards.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices.

- Experience working with enterprise infrastructure and middleware technologies.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Exposure to AI-assisted automation is highly desirable.

- Prior IBM MQ administration or migration experience is preferred.
