Automation Developer - Ansible

We are hiring for Ansible resources (Automation Development: Python+ Ansible)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Shell is seeking an experienced Automation Developer with expertise in systems integration and automation to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building automations that will operate Shell's connectivity workspace.

You will be integrating various platforms such as Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, SolarWinds and more, while also working on network standardization through YANG modelling. Python programming is a required skill. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to integrate disparate systems, ensuring smooth and efficient end-to-end workflows.

- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide scalable integration solutions using Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, etc.

- Create and maintain API-based integrations.

- Write Python scripts / logic within Ansible playbooks.

- Test and document all integration processes, design decisions, and developed solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system integration and workflow issues, ensuring high levels of performance and security.

- Continuously monitor and analyse the efficiency of integrated solutions, proposing and implementing improvements when necessary.

- Participate in regular review sessions with IT peers to discuss best practices, new technologies, and potential optimizations.

- Offer training and support to other IT team members on integrated systems and platforms.

- Develop Ansible playbooks for network orchestration.

- Standardize and document network configurations using YANG modelling for Cisco routers and switches in a design implementation guideline, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and uniformity across the organization.

- Experience in working in agile environment.

- Cloud & DevOps Azure, AWS, Azure CI/CD pipelines SHOULD Have

- OS Linux SHOULD Have
