About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior SDET to join our Quality Engineering team. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual with deep experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks, testing highly dynamic products, and simulating real-world customer use cases in fast-changing environments.

Youll work on validating cutting-edge technologies, especially in Machine Learning and Generative AI-powered platforms, ensuring continuous product quality in a world of rapid upgrades and continuous delivery. This is a role for someone who thrives in highly technical environments and has a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build, extend, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks (UI, API, Integration).

- Hands-on expertise with tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar modern frameworks.

- Contribute to automation for customer use-case scenarios and CS-reported defects.

- Ensure automation coverage keeps pace with rapid product changes, upgrades, and new customer workflows.

- Act as a quality championleading testing efforts for assigned features and advocating best practices.

- Review engineering stories, assess test impact, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Implement TDD, ATDD practices and use code quality tools to raise overall code health.

- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand the customers point of view.

- Communicate and work closely with Developers, DevOps, and other QA engineers.

- Provide constructive feedback on product documentation and usability.

- Quickly gain deep understanding of the solution domain, especially ML workflows and AI model pipelines.

- Analyze customer-reported defects and design preventive testing strategies.

- Provide input into ML and Gen AI testing where applicable.

- Troubleshoot issues in builds, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Own and perform release regression, performance testing, and installer configuration validation.

- Ensure timely delivery of testing artifacts to avoid cross-team dependency delays.

- Share knowledge with team members and help upskill junior engineers.

- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in tools, processes, and team capabilities.

Qualifications :

- 5- 7 years of experience as SDET or in a similar QA Automation role.

- Proficiency in at least one test automation framework: Cypress, Playwright, Selenium.

- Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend systems.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

- Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter, k6, or Locust (bonus).

- Hands-on with API and UI test automation, preferably using BDD/TDD techniques.

- Exposure to ML/AI domains with the ability to validate data workflows and AI model integrations.

- Experience using tools for code analysis, static analysis, and coverage.

- Knowledge of security, usability, and accessibility best practices is a plus.
