Job Summary :

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Automation & Test Tools Engineer to design, develop, and enhance automation systems and tools for manufacturing test pattern implementation, debugging, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong Python scripting experience in a Linux environment and a keen interest in data-driven test optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop automation systems and tools for :

1. Manufacturing test pattern implementation (Functional, Scan, MBIST).

2. ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test vector generation and release.

3. First-level debugging and test data analytics.

- Collaborate with test development engineers across functional and structural test teams to improve and streamline test generation flows.

- Enhance existing test pattern implementation tools and flows by adding timing constraints and scalability features.

- Explore and implement innovative data analytics tools and flows using AI/Machine Learning algorithms to process large volumes of test/debug data efficiently.

- Maintain proper revision control and documentation for all source files and tools.

- Support continuous integration and regression testing processes to ensure system reliability.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- 1- 3 years of experience in engineering tools development and regression testing.

- Strong proficiency in Python scripting within a Linux environment.

- Solid understanding of automation systems, test pattern implementation, and debug workflows.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage) :

- Familiarity with VHDL/Verilog and FPGA design flow.

- Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI.

- Knowledge of AI/ML-based tools like Dataiku.

- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
