Automation & Quality Engineer - Java/Selenium

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Perform end-to-end testing including functional, integration, system, and UAT.

- Drive automation-first approaches to reduce manual testing and increase coverage.

- Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for multiple platforms.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and reporting.

- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.

- Mentor junior engineers and advocate best practices in quality engineering.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in Automation & Quality Engineering (AQE).

- Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, etc.).

- Solid understanding of API testing (Postman, RestAssured, SOAP UI).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.

- Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Exposure to security testing concepts.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
