About the Role :

We are looking for an Automation & AI Systems Engineer to join a fast-growing Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bangalore. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, connecting tools, and improving business processes through automation and practical AI applications.

You will work closely with business, operations, and technology teams to design and implement scalable automations across CRM, marketing, and operational workflows.

This is a highly hands-on role suited for candidates with a strong builder mindset who can move fast, solve problems pragmatically, and thrive in dynamic product/startup-style environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement automation workflows across business systems and operational processes

- Build and manage integrations using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms

- Connect CRM, marketing, support, and internal tools to improve process efficiency

- Identify repetitive workflows and automate them using modern no-code/low-code platforms

- Apply AI tools and AI-driven workflows to streamline operations and improve productivity

- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize workflow performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation solutions

- Maintain clear documentation for workflows, integrations, and automation architecture

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5-10 years of experience in automation, integrations, systems engineering, or related roles

- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and system orchestration

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato, or similar platforms

- Experience working with CRM systems (platform experience flexible)

- Strong problem-solving ability with a practical, execution-focused approach

- Comfortable working in fast-paced startup or product-led environments

- Good understanding of workflow automation, operational systems, and process optimization

- Exposure to AI tools, AI-assisted workflows, or AI automation use cases

Preferred Background :

- Experience in startup, SaaS, product, or growth-stage environments

- Experience building internal automation ecosystems across multiple business functions

- Familiarity with modern AI productivity and workflow automation tools
