About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Frontend Engineer to lead our frontend team and drive the development of highly performant, scalable, and user-friendly web applications.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless digital experiences that delight our users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex, high-quality frontend applications.

- Architect scalable, maintainable, and reusable frontend systems and components.

- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level frontend engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to translate product requirements into technical solutions.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, security, performance, and accessibility.

- Drive frontend technical strategy and advocate for user-centric design.

- Own the frontend codebase, manage technical debt, and lead refactoring initiatives.

- Establish and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and frontend development workflows.

- Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to the companys products.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and production incidents.

- Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline and automation for frontend builds and deployments.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.

- Proven experience leading frontend teams or projects.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar).

- Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.

- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Vuex, etc.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Testing Library).

- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize frontend performance.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills
