Role Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Lead Computer Vision Engineer to architect, design, and implement advanced vision-based solutions for real-world applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in computer vision algorithms, deep learning models, image/video processing, and deployment of AI systems at scale.
This role includes leading a team of engineers, driving innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional groups to deliver high-performing computer-vision systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of computer vision and deep learning models.
- Define technical roadmaps, architecture, and vision strategies for AI/ML initiatives.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and code reviews for the Computer Vision team.
- Develop state-of-the-art vision models using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, or similar.
- Work on advanced techniques including object detection, segmentation, tracking, pose estimation, OCR, 3D vision, and image enhancement.
- Conduct research on emerging CV technologies and evaluate their applicability.
- Oversee dataset creation, labeling workflows, preprocessing, augmentation, and data management.
- Build scalable data pipelines for image/video ingestion, training, testing, and deployment.
- Deploy production-ready CV models on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or edge devices.
- Optimize models for performance, latency, and memory constraints (e.g., TensorRT, ONNX, quantization).
- Collaborate with embedded, backend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end integration.
- Develop automated evaluation pipelines to measure model performance.
- Analyze model accuracy, robustness, and reliability under real-world conditions.
- Implement continuous improvement cycles for models post-deployment.
- Work closely with product managers, data engineers, ML engineers, and software teams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable computer-vision solutions.
- Communicate technical findings and progress to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Robotics, or related field; PhD preferred.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision, machine learning, or deep learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python, and experience with ML/CV frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, OpenCV).
- Proven experience building production-grade models for image and video analysis.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, 3D geometry, camera calibration, and classical CV techniques.
- Experience with cloud-based AI pipelines and MLOps practices.
- Familiarity with GPU acceleration, CUDA, and model optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and ability to lead end-to-end solutions
