We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant to configure and prepare Dynamics 365 for integration with an external Trade Promotion Management (TPM) platform. The consultant will design and implement the data structures, master data, and integration frameworks necessary for TPM enablement ensuring Dynamics serves as the system of record for customer, product, and financial master data, as well as rolled-up trade spend and performance figures.

This role demands both functional and technical expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central (depending on environment), with a deep understanding of consumer goods and trade spend processes. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and data modeling in a multi-system TPM landscape is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure Dynamics 365 to support Trade Promotion Management readiness.

- Define and implement customer, product, and channel hierarchies aligned with TPM structures.

- Ensure robust master data governance and synchronization across ERP and the TPM platform.

- Establish linkages between customers, SKUs, pricing, and spending attributes for accurate trade reporting.

- Collaborate with integration teams to define and validate data flows between Dynamics 365 and the external TPM tool.

- Develop data mapping, transformation, and validation rules for TPM-related data (e.g., trade accruals, actuals, and claims).

- Act as the ERP custodian for all rolled-up TPM data including trade spend, deduction tracking, and post-event analysis figures.

- Define and document end-to-end processes for master data creation, approval, and updates.

- Support finance and sales operations teams in establishing TPM-related financial dimensions and analytics structures.

- Provide functional guidance on using Dynamics as the foundation for trade spend visibility and reconciliation.

- Lead functional testing and data validation during integration cycles.

- Prepare detailed documentation on configurations, data models, and integration flows.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience (5+ years) in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central implementation and configuration.

- Strong understanding of master data management, especially customer, product, and financial hierarchies.

- Hands-on experience with data integration, preferably using tools like Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, or similar middleware.

- Familiarity with Trade Promotion Management (TPM) processes in the CPG / FMCG domain (including accruals, settlements, and trade spend tracking).

- Working knowledge of data governance and dimensional modeling.

- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, IT, Integration).

- Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party TPM tools (e.g., XTEL, Visualfabriq, Salesforce TPM, or SAP TPM).

- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or similar analytics frameworks for trade data reporting.

- Experience with Azure Integration Services or APIs for system-to-system synchronization.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with understanding of ERP-TPM data dependencies.
Education :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline.


- Microsoft Certified : Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant (Finance / SCM) preferred.

- Complete Dynamics setup for TPM integration readiness within agreed timeline.


- Fully validated customer and product hierarchies with governance framework.

- Successful end-to-end integration tested with external TPM system.

- Clear documentation of data models, integration mapping, and business processes.
