Job Description

In This Role, You Will :


- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data solutions within the Snowflake ecosystem, covering data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption layers

- Define and enforce best practices for Snowflake usage, including data modeling, query optimization, security frameworks, access control, and cost management strategies

- Architect and build scalable data pipelines using a variety of integration tools (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch, custom ETL/ELT frameworks) to efficiently load data into Snowflake

- Collaborate closely with data engineers to develop efficient ELT/ETL processes, stored procedures, and robust data quality checks directly within Snowflake

- Optimize Snowflake warehouse usage, leveraging features like clustering, materialized views, and other advanced capabilities to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in data practices

- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for any Snowflake-related issues, ensuring system stability and reliability

- Stay abreast of the latest Snowflake features, updates, and industry best practices, evaluating new technologies to continually enhance our data platform capabilities

- Work with business stakeholders to comprehensively understand their data requirements and translate them into precise technical specifications and architectural designs

- Ensure strict adherence to data security, privacy, and compliance standards within the entire Snowflake environment

- Support pre-sales solutioning efforts, including some hands on keyboard development supporting various POCs.

- Help Architect and Build various pre-sales demos and best practice accelerators that contribute to Atriums IP Library.

In This Role, You Will Have :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field

- Proven experience 8+ years in data warehousing, data architecture, or senior data engineering roles

- Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Snowflake Architect, demonstrating extensive practical knowledge of Snowflake's core features and advanced capabilities

- Deep understanding of modern data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lake architectures

- Expertise in SQL and proven experience with performance tuning complex queries on very large datasets

- Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and seamless integration of Snowflake with various cloud services

- Proficiency with a range of data integration tools and techniques (e.g., Python, Spark, Fivetran, DBT, Matillion, Airflow)

- Deep Experience with version control systems (Git) and establishing CI/CD pipelines for data solutions

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, agile environment

- Certifications in Snowflake are highly desired.
