Job Title : Mid-Level RPA Developer - Blue Prism


Role Overview :


We are seeking a Mid-Level RPA Developer with strong Blue Prism expertise to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade automation solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, and automation leads to delivering scalable, reliable, and well-governed RPA processes across multiple applications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across the end-to-end Blue Prism development lifecycle, including object/process design, exception handling, queue management, deployment, and production support.


Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, test, and maintain Blue Prism automation solutions in line with enterprise standards.


- Build and manage reusable Business Objects and Processes using Process Studio and Object Studio.


- Automate workflows across SAP, web applications, desktop applications, MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.


- Implement work queues, exception handling, retry mechanisms, and detailed logging.


- Optimize bot performance for medium to high transaction volumes.


- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and effort estimation.


- Create and maintain process documentation, including AS-IS, PDD/SDD, and operational runbooks.


- Support Control Room activities, including scheduling, monitoring, and resolving bot issues.


- Assist with UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live support.


- Adhere to RPA governance, security, and compliance guidelines.


Mandatory Skills & Experience :


- 7 - 10 years of total experience with 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in Blue Prism RPA development


- Strong proficiency in Blue Prism Process Studio and Object Studio


- Experience with SAP automation and MS Office automation (Excel, Word, Outlook)


- Solid understanding of :

  • Work Queues
  • Exception handling (business and system)
  • Retry logic and logging

- Experience supporting production bots and Control Room operations


- Good understanding of the RPA delivery lifecycle and SDLC


- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills


Preferred Qualifications :


- Blue Prism Developer Certification (AD01 or equivalent)


- Experience working in enterprise or CoE-based RPA environments


- Exposure to document-based automation or OCR within Blue Prism (good to have)
