Description :
Infrastructure, Security & Resilience Architect (Founding Team)
We are assembling a core group of high-energy engineers to own, secure, and scale our global technical landscape. I am looking for a powerhouse Infrastructure & Security Lead who views "Infra-As-Code" as a baseline and sees security and resilience as business enablers, not bottlenecks.
This isn't just an admin role; it's an architectural and strategic position for someone who can move at the speed of a startup while maintaining the rigorous standards of an enterprise.
The Role : Infrastructure, IT & Security Lead
You will be the guardian and architect of our cloud environments. From provisioning high-performance clusters to securing air-gapped environments and navigating complex SOC2/ISO-level audits, you will ensure our systems are resilient, compliant, and cost-efficient.
The Technical Domain :
Cloud & Scaling : Advanced architecture in Azure/AWS; deep expertise in Kubernetes (K8s), IaC (Terraform/Pulumi), and automated scaling.
Networking & Security : Mastering the "connective tissue"-LBs, Firewalls, NAT, Proxies, Subnets, and complex networking in both cloud and air-gapped setups.
Resilience & Continuity : Engineering for High Availability (HA) across geo-zones, implementing Disaster Recovery (DR), and managing backups to hit strict RPO targets and SLAs.
Identity & Access : Deep dive into IDP/IAM, SSO, SSL/TLS, and VDI policy management.
Observability & Governance : Implementing tracing and proactive monitoring for high speed RCA; managing compliance, audits, and geo-fencing requirements.
The "High-Business-Acumen" Edge :
Cost Efficiency : You don't just build; you optimize. You are naturally cost-conscious, treating cloud spend as your own.
Commercial Support : You can pivot from terminal to boardroom, supporting RFP/RFQ processes and translating infrastructure stability into sales confidence.
Automation & Speed : If you must do it twice, you script it. You leverage automation for on-demand provisioning, rapid rollouts, and seamless Migrations.
Roles & Responsibilities - Infrastructure, Security & Resilience Architect (Founding Team)
- Own the end-to-end architecture, security, and scalability of cloud and hybrid infrastructure across global environments.
- Design and implement high-performance cloud platforms on Azure/AWS, supporting rapid growth and enterprise-grade standards.
- Build and manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, including auto-scaling, workload orchestration, cluster security, and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform/Pulumi, ensuring repeatable, automated provisioning and deployments.
- Architect and secure complex networking environments including Load Balancers, Firewalls, NAT, Proxies, Subnets, VPC/VNET peering, and secure routing.
- Design and support air-gapped and isolated environments, ensuring compliance, secure access control, and controlled data transfer processes.
- Implement High Availability (HA) and multi-region disaster recovery (DR) strategies to meet strict RPO/RTO targets and uptime SLAs.
- Own and manage backup strategies, retention policies, encryption standards, and restoration validation drills.
- Lead Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives including SSO, IDP integrations, RBAC, MFA, and privileged access governance.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, encryption policies, secure key management, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Implement and enforce security controls, governance frameworks, and best practices aligned to SOC2 / ISO 27001 readiness.
- Own compliance activities including audit preparation, evidence collection, risk assessments, and remediation planning.
- Establish and manage observability and monitoring frameworks (logs, metrics, tracing) for proactive alerting and fast RCA.
- Lead incident response planning, security event investigation, and root cause resolution for infrastructure outages or threats.
- Define and enforce geo-fencing, data residency, and compliance boundary controls based on customer/regional requirements.
- Optimize cloud spend through cost governance, resource right-sizing, reserved instances/savings plans, and usage forecasting.
- Automate operational processes using scripting and tooling to ensure zero manual repetition and faster delivery cycles.
- Support migration projects including lift-and-shift, re-architecture, modernization, and platform transitions with minimal downtime.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure secure CI/CD pipelines, environment consistency, and release readiness.
- Act as a key contributor in pre-sales, RFP/RFQ responses, and customer-facing technical discussions related to infrastructure security and resilience.
- Communicate technical risks clearly to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring business alignment on uptime, security, and compliance priorities.
- Take full ownership of uptime, perimeter security, recovery strategy, and operational resilience as part of the founding technical leadership
