About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Member of Technical Staff Test Automation to join our Clinicals automation team within the Bangalore R&D division.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust UI and API test automation frameworks to validate mission-critical healthcare workflows used by over 100,000 providers daily.

Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our cloud-based EHR platform and ensuring that doctors spend more time on patient care rather than administrative complexity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of clinical workflows.

- Identify business-critical areas suitable for UI and API automation and drive automation strategy.

- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to enhance product quality and ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.

- Develop scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Typescript/JavaScript, and supporting libraries.

- Implement BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) practices and maintain test frameworks using Page Object Model.

- Perform API automation using tools like Postman and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures with minimal turnaround time.

- Ensure 100% test reliability when integrated with existing automation suites and CI pipelines.

- Adhere to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Provide estimation of automation tasks, assign story points, and ensure delivery within sprint timelines.

- Continuously improve automation coverage, performance, and best practices.

Required Qualifications :

- 3 to 4 years of hands-on automation testing experience with strong product development exposure.

- Proficiency in Typescript and JavaScript for automation scripting.

- Strong expertise in UI automation using Selenium WebDriver.

- Experience with API automation using Postman or similar tools.

- Strong understanding of BDD frameworks (e., Cucumber, SpecFlow).

- Solid knowledge of Page Object Model design patterns.

- Familiarity with SQL/Oracle queries for data validation.

- Basic proficiency in C#, Java, or any OOP language.

- Experience with debugging automation code and resolving flaky tests.

- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, or other version control systems.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
