Job Description

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled ATG Operational Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for Oracle ATG Commerce platforms. This role is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of ATG-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ATG commerce systems, production support, and performance optimization.


Key Responsibilities :


- Provide L2/L3 operational support for ATG-based applications, ensuring uptime and stability.

- Monitor application performance, logs, and alerts using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.

- Manage and support deployments, releases, and patches for ATG applications.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve application issues.

- Document incidents, resolutions, and create knowledge base articles for recurring issues.

- Work within incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure compliance with SLAs.

- Provide on-call support during off-hours/weekends as needed.


Required Skills :


- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ATG Commerce (Dynamo, BCC, CSC, CRS, etc.)

- Proficiency in Java/J2EE with good understanding of ATG architecture.

- Experience in application servers (WebLogic/JBoss) and deployment processes.

- Solid understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ability to write/debug queries.

- Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, etc.).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


Preferred Skills :


- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for hosting ATG applications.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Exposure to microservices and integration with third-party systems.

- Familiarity with CommerceTools, CDM, or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus
