Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cypress automation using TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have experience designing scalable automation frameworks, integrating with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, and producing high-quality test reports using Cypress-compatible tools. This role requires a quick learner who can work independently with minimal guidance and thrive in a fast-paced SDLC environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress with TypeScript.

- Implement test automation frameworks using best practices such as Page Object Model (POM) and modular test design.

- Integrate test automation with Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous test execution.

- Utilize Git for source code management and collaborative version control.

- Generate and maintain detailed test reports using Mocha or other Cypress-compatible tools.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high product quality.

- Adapt to ongoing changes in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing practices.

- Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing scenarios.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in web automation using Cypress.

- Proficiency in TypeScript as the primary scripting language for test development.

- Solid understanding and application of automation design patterns (e.g., POM).

- Experience in Azure DevOps for test execution and CI/CD pipeline integration.

- Working knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration.

- Familiarity with Mocha, Chai, or other reporting libraries/tools used with Cypress.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.

Nice to Have :

- Experience in API testing and mocking within Cypress.

- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure beyond DevOps.

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and test environment setup.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
