One of our clients is looking for AVP- Cloud Engineering and the person will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Cloud Infrastructure including systems, compliance, and reliability. Actively participate in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of the organization. Also actively resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company. The role will be managing multi cloud environments and working towards building robust architecture and driving performance and cost optimization projects.

Responsibilities :

- Architecting, Building, and operating large scale, performance critical applications on windows, Linux/Unix platforms on public Clouds preferably Oracle Cloud.

- Define strategy, vision, and roadmap to build and operate a self-service Infrastructure (IaaS) and platform (PaaS) at scale.

- Determine and develop architectural approaches and Infrastructure solutions with cloud architects and engineers.

- Establish a minimum security baseline and ensure the proposed infrastructure complies with those.

- Define and drive Disaster Recovery strategy across Client's Products & Platforms.

- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure new capability projects

- Efficient & Effective Process Improvements for seamless cloud adoption.

- Setup CICD pipelines, observability and deployment tools.

- Identify and prioritize the automation of mundane tasks, service requests and incident resolution.

- Drive cost optimization across Client's Cloud environments.

Requirements :

- B. Tech. / B.E. in Computer Science with 14 -18 years of experience (preferably in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Infra, Automation, CICD management)

- Experience in engineering, deploying and managing Cloud Infrastructure, CICD setup, Servers, Cloud networks, platforms, and applications.

- Should have hands-on experience in monitoring, configuring, Performing, and troubleshooting cloud services and application servers.

- Experience in leading teams that have managed scalable and high-performance Cloud Environments.

- Track record of managing high-performance and availability infrastructure.

- Strong at technical goal setting for technical projects with actionable success metrics.

- Strong on driving for results, self-motivated, with a strong learning mindset, and with a good understanding of related advanced/new technology.

- Problem solving skills; ability to troubleshoot complex skills. Automation first mindset.

- Experience on cloud infrastructure principles and practices. Thorough understanding and experience of running production workloads on Oracle Cloud platforms
