We are looking for a detail-oriented and user-focused Product Associate to support the product team in enhancing and scaling our B2C messaging platform. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Customer Experience teams to improve user engagement, retention, and overall product experience.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Product Research & Insights :

- Analyze user behaviour, chat patterns, session metrics, DAU/MAU trends, and retention data.

- Conduct competitor analysis across messaging apps .

- Gather user feedback from app reviews, NPS, customer support, and social channels to identify product opportunities.

2. Product Planning & Execution :

- Convert product requirements into user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.

- Assist in defining product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and sprint planning.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help launch new features such as chat tools, media sharing, notifications, privacy settings, groups, bots, or voice/video upgrades.

3. Feature Testing & Quality :

- Conduct functional testing and UAT for new features.

- Identify bugs and usability issues and work with engineering to ensure timely resolution.

- Track post-launch performance and create reports on feature impact.

4. User Experience (UX) Support :

- Work alongside designers to create wireframes, mockups, and flow diagrams.

- Evaluate user journeys and propose changes to improve experience, accessibility, and ease of use.

5. Data & Reporting :

- Prepare product dashboards, conversion funnel analyses, and performance reports.

- Monitor critical KPIs such as :

Message delivery rate
Read rate
Crash-free sessions
Retention cohorts
Feature adoption

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2 - 3 years of experience in product, business analysis, or growth teams (preferably in a B2C or mobile app environment).

- Strong understanding of mobile apps, user behaviour, and consumer-tech trends.

- Basic knowledge of SQL, analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, GA).

- Ability to write clear PRDs, user stories, and documentation.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment similar to messaging/social apps

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working in messaging, chat, social networking, or real-time communication apps.

- Understanding of push notification systems, real-time messaging, or chat protocols (XMPP, WebSockets, MQTT).

- Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation.
