Associate Lead - Full Stack Development

Role & Responsibilities :

As an Associate Lead Java, you will play a crucial role in both hands-on development and guiding project execution.

Your responsibilities will include :

- Project Leadership Support : Assist in leading and managing technical projects, contributing to timely and quality delivery by overseeing specific modules or tasks.

- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) : Apply a strong understanding of the SDLC, particularly within Agile/Scrum methodologies, to contribute effectively to sprints and releases.

- Design Principles & Patterns : Actively participate in applying design principles and architectural design patterns in solution discussions and implementation.

- Team Collaboration : Engage proactively in daily stand-ups, provide updates on work items, and coordinate effectively with fellow developers.

- Stakeholder Communication : Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and, at times, with clients and management regarding technical progress and issues.

- Code Quality Contribution : Participate in code quality reviews during pull requests, monitor pipeline status, contribute to performance monitoring, and proactively identify and address code-related issues.

- Development & Mentorship : Serve as a hands-on developer while also starting to mentor junior developers, fostering best practices and knowledge sharing.

- Status Reporting : Assist in preparing and delivering regular project updates to stakeholders.

Technical Expertise Required :

Programming (Hands-on) : Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack developer using :

- Java (version 8 and above)

- Spring Boot

- React (or similar modern JavaScript framework)

Database :

Strong experience with :

- RDBMS : MS SQL (preferred), MySQL, PostgreSQL

- NoSQL : MongoDB

- Caching Tools: Redis or HazelCast

- Hands-on experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ.

- Good understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture.

- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS or Azure.

- Strong coding practices and experience participating in code reviews.

- Proven ability to contribute to low-level system design.

Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Prior experience working with US/UK clients is highly preferred.

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

- Emerging leadership qualities with a willingness to take ownership.

- A keen interest in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
