Associate Implementation Consultant - SQL/ETL/Data Warehousing

Job description :

Highly proficient in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) :

- SQL is a key skill since it is extensively used in the manipulation and analysis of data.

- Proficiency in SQL allows developers to write queries for extracting and transforming data as per business requirements.

- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and understanding database concepts such as tables, views, indexes, and relationships is crucial.

- Backup/Restore/Setup of SQL Server databases, permissions, roles, etc.

- Must have a deep understanding of SQL nuances and be able to fine-tune database operations to handle large volumes of data swiftly.

Data Warehousing Expertise :

- A solid grasp of data warehousing principles (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema and dimensions) is fundamental.

- This encompasses designing and maintaining data warehouse schemas, understanding dimensional modelling, and implementing data storage solutions.

- Skills in this area ensure that the ingested and stored data is structured in a way that supports efficient data retrieval and analysis, which is key for supporting business intelligence activities.

- Proficiency in at least one ETL Tool (ETL, which stands for extract, transform and load, is a data integration process that combines data from multiple data sources into a single, consistent data store that is loaded into a data warehouse).

- Our clients rely heavily on accurate data in their CDM data warehouse to make important decisions. With sound ETL skills, you can provide accurate, timely and relevant data, enabling decision-makers to execute informed strategies that drive their business forward.

- Experience in scripting languages (C#, etc.)

- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as C#, is another skill that ETL developers need. These languages aid in automating tasks, enhancing efficiency and improving data quality control.

- Experience in at least one data reporting and/or visualization platform (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc)
Team members need to design, develop, implement and support front-end data reporting outputs (Enquiries and/or Dashboards) to allow our clients to directly view and interact with their data.

- Good Microsoft Excel skills

- Some experience with SQL Server Reporting Services ( ), but not essential.
