Associate Data Engineer - Collibra/Alation

We are seeking an Associate Data Engineer to support data engineering and management initiatives.

This role involves developing data solutions, conducting quality checks, and collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and reliable data delivery.

Our Data Governance team focuses on helping our clients implement an effective data governance program that protects against threats, propels data-driven transformation, and drives growth

As an Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to :

Requirements :

- Strong knowledge and experience with at least one major data governance enterprise platform (e.g. Collibra, Alation, or Informatica), An Initio

- Extensive knowledge and experience with data analysis and enterprise metadata management, especially in the context of Data Lifecycle use cases;

- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

- Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths and address development areas.

- Experience deploying data lineage and data flow inventory solutions;

- Demonstrated experience implementing structured data archiving and data lifecycle management activities;

- Background in DCAM or related data governance frameworks;

- Foundational knowledge of ETL concepts and data flow design.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

- Familiarity with tools such as Informatica, Alation, or Collibra .

- Relevant DG certifications like DAMA , CDMP . Collibra Ranger

- Relevant work experience of 3 to 5 years
