Role Overview :
As an Associate Consultant / Consultant Advanced Analytics, you will manage and deliver analytical projects that drive commercial and strategic decision-making for global pharmaceutical clients.
This is a client-facing, management-oriented role combining business consulting, analytical leadership, and technical problem-solving.
You will lead analytics delivery, collaborate with global cross-functional teams, ensure project excellence, and contribute to thought leadership within PharmaACEs analytics practice.
Key Responsibilities :
Project & Stakeholder Management :
- Lead and manage end-to-end analytics projects for global pharma clients, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Act as the key offshore point of contact for clients and onshore stakeholders, ensuring proactive communication and solution alignment.
- Translate complex business requirements into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards.
Analytics Leadership & Execution :
- Analyze and interpret large, complex pharmaceutical and life sciences datasets (e.g., claims, EMR, prescription, sales, and promotional data).
- Design and implement data models and statistical approaches to support forecasting, commercial analytics, and market insights.
- Develop and validate analytical models using AI/ML algorithms and advanced data science techniques.
- Oversee data processing, cleansing, and validation to ensure analytical accuracy.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of data trends and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
Technical Enablement & Innovation :
- Guide teams on data engineering workflows, automation, and model deployment using SQL, Python, R, or ETL tools.
- Drive process automation and analytical efficiency through scripting, tool adoption, and reusable framework development.
- Stay current on emerging analytics methodologies, machine learning techniques, and life sciences data assets.
Client Engagement & Thought Leadership :
- Partner with business leaders to identify new analytical opportunities and shape engagement strategies.
- Deliver compelling presentations, dashboards, and reports to communicate insights effectively.
- Contribute to building PharmaACEs knowledge base, reusable assets, and analytics best practices.
Qualifications & Experience :
Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience : 25 years in healthcare, pharma analytics, or life sciences consulting with demonstrated project management exposure.
- Strong experience in handling pharma commercial data assets (Rx, volume/value, patient-level longitudinal datasets, etc.).
- Working knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, forecasting, and data visualization tools.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with ETL and data automation tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead small teams and mentor junior analysts.
