Assistant Vice President - ServiceNow Platform

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Assistant Vice President (AVP), ServiceNow Architect to join our growing technology team. This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and governing the technical architecture of our enterprise-wide ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ServiceNow best practices and will serve as a key technical leader, guiding the design and implementation of complex, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the ServiceNow platform architectural roadmap, ensuring it aligns with overall business and IT strategies.

- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to ServiceNow development, administration, and support teams.

- Lead the design and implementation of complex solutions, with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow best practices for ITSM and App Engine.

- Architect robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions, demonstrating a strong command over n-layer/n-tier architectures.

- Drive the adoption and successful integration of cutting-edge ServiceNow features, including NOW Mobile App, NOW Virtual Assistant, and NOW Assist.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and other architects to translate business requirements into detailed, logical technical designs.

- Oversee and define the strategy for platform integrations, leveraging ServiceNow APIs and other integration methods.

- Conduct technical reviews and assessments of proposed solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and governance.

- Stay up-to-date with new ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends to guide the continuous evolution of the platform.

Key Requirements :

- Extensive experience (8+ years) as a ServiceNow Architect or in a similar senior technical leadership role.

- Proficiency in ServiceNow best practices, with a deep focus on ITSM and App Engine.

- Expertise in ServiceNow development, including hands-on experience with scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), APIs, and robust integrations.

- Proven hands-on experience with NOW Mobile App, NOW Virtual Assistant, and NOW Assist.

- Strong command over technical components like n-layer/n-tier solutions, with a logical and design-oriented approach.

- Demonstrated experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) certification.

- Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as HRSD, GRC, CSM, or SPM.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
