Key Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of 20+ engineers (managing 2+ EMs) to deliver 7-8 releases per quarter, focusing on e-commerce web pages and backend scalability.

- Set clear expectations, mentor/coach engineers, conduct code reviews (25% time), system design (25% time), team management (25% time), and cross-functional collaboration (25% time).

- Own end-to-end launches : read product specs, deep system design, code reviews, QA oversight, benchmarks, and dependency coordination with other teams.

- Ensure bug-free releases via monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and continuous improvement.

- Foster high performance, accountability, and culture while removing blockers and contributing hands-on when needed.-

Qualifications & Mandatory Checklist :

- 15+ years experience, including 6+ years in engineering management; proven track record leading 20+ people (direct/indirect).

- 4+ years e-commerce experience in full-stack environments (Python, TypeScript, Node.js, React, HTML/DOM/CSS, GraphQL).

- Strong expertise in AWS cloud hosting, Docker, Kubernetes containerization.

- Technical breakdown : Team mgmt 25%, code review 25%, system design 25%, meetings 25%.

- Hands-on launch responsibilities : product spec review, system design, code reviews, QA, dates/benchmarks, inter-team coordination.
