Role Overview :

As the Databricks Squad Delivery Lead, you will oversee project delivery, team leadership, architecture reviews, and client engagement.

Youll be responsible for optimizing Databricks implementations across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), while leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Databricks-based solutions.

- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Databricks architecture, implementation, and optimization.

- Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.

- Oversee Databricks workspace setup, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.

- Drive innovation within the team by implementing best practices, tools, and technologies.

- Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.

What We're Looking For :

Must-Have :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (Masters or MBA preferred).

- Hands-on experience delivering data engineering/analytics projects using Databricks.

- Experience managing cloud-based data pipelines on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong leadership skills and client-facing communication.

Preferred Skills :

- Proficiency with Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and distributed computing.

- Expertise in data engineering concepts (ETL, data lakes, data warehousing).

- Certifications in Databricks or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a plus.

- Agile/Scrum or PMP certification is an added advantage.
