Role : SQL DBA

- BE/B.Tech/MCA with 56 years of experience and a strong understanding of database management, performance tuning, and high-availability setups.

Key Skills & Responsibilities :

- Strong proficiency in SQL Server / MySQL database administration, maintenance, and optimization.

- Experience with database design, schema management, indexing, and query optimization.

- Expertise in backup, restore, disaster recovery strategies, and database archiving.

- Experience with data retention policies, purging, and archiving large datasets.

- Performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of production databases.

- Knowledge of high availability, replication, clustering, and failover mechanisms.

- Familiarity with security, user management, and data access control.

- Experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.

- Familiarity with automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.

- Sound understanding of Agile methodologies and collaboration with development teams.

Nice-to-Have / Optional:

- Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL).

- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).

- Experience working with Data Lakes, large-scale data platforms, and data archival solutions.
