Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead Data Engineering to drive the design, development, and implementation of modern data platforms and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Snowflake, Coretex AI integration, and enterprise-level data engineering, along with strong leadership capabilities to guide teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Data Platform & Architecture :
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and enterprise data platforms.
- Architect and implement Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse solutions, including data modeling, schema design, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
- Drive adoption and implementation of the Common Data Platform (CDP) across enterprise environments, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
- Define best practices for data ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), data storage, and data distribution.
2. Coretex AI Integration :
- Integrate Coretex AI capabilities into the data ecosystem to enable advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and predictive insights.
- Work closely with data science and analytics teams to operationalize AI/ML models within the data platform.
- Ensure seamless CI/CD and automation for analytics workflows.
3. Data Engineering & Development :
- Build and manage robust ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as Matillion, dbt, Talend, or equivalent.
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for large-scale data processing.
- Develop scalable data integration solutions connecting multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
4. Cloud Data Services :
- Work extensively with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, utilizing their native data services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow, etc.).
- Ensure reliability, availability, and scalability of cloud-based data infrastructure.
5. Data Governance & Security :
- Implement data governance policies covering data quality, lineage, cataloging, and metadata management.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc., as applicable).
- Partner with security teams to enforce access control and data protection best practices.
6. Leadership & Collaboration :
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and the adoption of modern engineering practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 8 - 12 years of professional experience in data engineering with a strong background in data platform development.
- Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake, including data modeling, clustering, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience integrating Coretex AI for automation and analytics use cases.
- Demonstrated success in implementing Common Data Platforms (CDP) in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools such as Matillion, dbt, Talend, or similar.
- Experience working with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and using their data services.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
