Ascendion - Quality Assurance Test Manager - Java/Selenium

Role : QA Test Manager.

Experience : 9-12 Years.

Location : Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead overall QA strategy with 912 years of experience in functional and automation testing, ensuring high-quality delivery in Agile projects.

- Define and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for both manual and automated testing.

- Drive automation initiatives using Selenium with Java and enhance test frameworks.

- Manage and execute API testing for integration and end-to-end validations.

- Perform SQL-based data validation and back-end testing for accuracy.

- Leverage Python scripting for test data management, masking, and automation utilities.

- Ensure the adoption of testing frameworks and maintain best practices.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git) for continuous quality checks.

- Mentor QA engineers, track/report quality metrics, and communicate risks to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies :

- Proficiency in Selenium with Java for test automation.

- Nice to have ISTQB Advance & PMP.

- Strong expertise in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, or similar).

- Advanced SQL skills for data validation and back-end testing.

- Hands-on Python scripting for automation and test data handling.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) and Agile methodology.
