Job Title : QA Tester Lead (Automation)

Role Overview :

As the QA Automation Tester Lead, you will take charge of our automation testing efforts, leading a team of skilled testers, and collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams. You will bring your expertise in automated testing, particularly using Python, Pytest, Appium, Selenium, and API testing, to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership : Manage and lead a team of QA automation testers, providing guidance, support, and professional growth opportunities.

Automation Frameworks : Develop, implement, and maintain sophisticated automated testing frameworks using Python, Pytest, Appium, Selenium, and other relevant tools.

Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define clear testing objectives and acceptance criteria.

Test Execution : Design and execute automated test cases for comprehensive coverage, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.

Defect Management : Identify, document, and prioritize software defects, working closely with development teams to resolve them swiftly.

Analysis & Reporting : Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders, promoting data-driven decision-making.

Industry Trends : Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automated testing methodologies, incorporating best practices into the teams workflows.

Qualifications :

Educational Background : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience : 7-10 years of proven experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.

Technical Proficiency : Strong expertise in Python and hands-on experience with Pytest, Appium, Selenium, and API testing.

Frameworks & Tools : Solid understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools.

Leadership Skills : Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.

Analytical Abilities : Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with superior communication skills.

Detail Orientation : Detail-oriented with a sharp focus on efficiently identifying and resolving software defects.

Certifications : Relevant certifications in QA automation and software testing are advantageous.
