About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced GenAI Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure.

This role involves building intelligent, cloud-native applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), OCR, and agent-based frameworks.

You will play a key role in driving architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement end-to-end Generative AI solutions, including data pipelines, model development, evaluation, and production deployment

- Design and optimize generative models using GANs, VAEs, reinforcement learning, and LLM-based architectures

- Develop scalable AI solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and modern GenAI tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel

- Leverage Azure services including Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Search, and Azure Document Intelligence to build secure and scalable systems

- Design and implement RAG pipelines and agent-based architectures for enterprise use cases

- Define evaluation metrics and continuously improve model performance, accuracy, and efficiency

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI and identify relevant enterprise applications

Required Qualifications :

- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field

- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML with strong hands-on expertise in Generative AI

- Proficiency in Python, along with deep experience in TensorFlow and PyTorch

- Strong understanding of deep learning architectures including GANs, VAEs, LLMs, and reinforcement learning

- Extensive experience with Azure AI ecosystem and cloud-native solution architecture

- Proven experience in building and deploying scalable AI/ML systems in production environments

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work in a global team environment with overlapping time zones

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with agentic AI frameworks and multi-agent systems

- Familiarity with OCR pipelines and document processing systems

- Knowledge of MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring

- Exposure to vector databases and semantic search systems
