- Prepare detailed technical specifications from which complex programs will be written or configured. Writes high quality code according to specifications.

- Perform code reviews.

- Provides Tier 3 support and resolution of open IT issues escalated by IT Customer Support.

- Maintain strong vendor relationships to resolve problems and coordinate the delivery of IT products and services.

- Build a deep technical understanding of how the business operates departmental structure, functions, processes, procedures, and current application functionality.

- Work in partnership with key business users, identify potential ways of improving the efficiency and/or

effectiveness of current business operations.

- Development of specified solutions in accordance with approved specifications

Preferred Skills and qualification :

- 6+ years of strong experience in developing and maintaining AS/400 software applications.

- Experience with multiple programming languages and systems

- Experience with RPGLE Programming,

- Experience with ILE Advanced concepts (Procedures, Service programs, Functions, Full Free RPG coding syntax)

- Experience with SQL concepts and programming.

- The ability to effectively work independently and as part of a SCRUM team providing direction and mentorship to others as needed.

- Demonstrated project discipline and experience. Must be organized, focused, and driven toward established deliverable dates. Must be able to design solutions and form/drive related plans.

Good to have skills :

- Experience with IBM RDI Tools (Rational Developer for System i)

- Experience in any change management tool.

- Experience with Help Systems SEQUEL

- Knowledge of AGILE development standards / services and networking techniques

- Good to have ORACLE Cloud experience.
