What You Will Do :
- Provide end-to-end production support for AS400 applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents ensuring minimal downtime.
- Investigate root causes, apply permanent fixes, and document resolutions.
- Coordinate with business users, developers, and vendors for quick issue resolution.
- Participate in on-call/rotational support shifts covering evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Support change deployments, patches, and upgrades while maintaining stability.
- Identify and suggest process improvements for production stability.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications :
- 6- 10 years of experience in AS400 production support or application support.
- Strong skills in RPGLE, ILE concepts, and SQL for debugging and issue analysis.
- Knowledge of incident/change/problem management processes (ITIL preferred).
- Ability to analyze issues under pressure and provide quick resolutions.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional/global teams.
Good to Have :
- Experience with IBM RDI, Help Systems SEQUEL, and change management tools.
- Exposure to automation in monitoring or incident management.
