AS400 Developer - RPG/DB2 - Retail

Job Description:

Candidate should have 6 - 8 years of relevant experience on AS400 IBM.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and development on application language RPG, RPGLE.

- Database design on DB2 400 and development using control language CL 400, CLLE.

- Perform end to end unit testing of new and existing applications and debug interactive and batch jobs.

- Interact directly with the client team, understand business requirements and provide solutions.

- Perform application maintenance and switch between tasks as needed.

Technical Skills:

- AS400 tools: SDA, RLU, PDM.

- Knowledge of I5250, Presto Inventory Order Fulfillment, Modern RPG techniques, SQL, RPG.

- Complex SQL queries, Embedded SQL.

- Good to have: Change management tools (Aldon, Turnover, Thenon), ILE concepts, MQs, Web Services, JDA, and retail domain experience.
