Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled AS400 Administrator (System i) with hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and upgrading AS400 systems.

The role involves performing system installations, managing LPARs, performing certificate updates, and ensuring smooth system operations in a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and upgrade AS400 LPARs and related components.

- Perform system administration, user management, and security configuration on IBM iSeries (AS400).

- Manage SSL certificate updates and ensure system security compliance.

- Monitor and maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

- Apply patches, PTFs, and system upgrades as required.

- Work with application and infrastructure teams to support business-critical systems.

- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have) :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in AS400 Administration.

- Proficiency in LPAR installation, configuration, and upgrade.

- Strong knowledge of AS400 system tools and utilities.

- Experience with certificate updates, system backups, and performance tuning.

- Understanding of iSeries security, user profiles, and authority management.

Good To Have Skills :

- Experience in disaster recovery planning and testing.

- Familiarity with CL programming and IBM Navigator for i.

- Knowledge of Change Management and Incident Management processes (e.g., ServiceNow).

- Exposure to banking or financial systems environments.
