Artihcus - Quality Engineer - Automation Testing

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain automated API tests using Rest Assured and Cucumber.

- Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure continuous integration and delivery.

- Perform manual testing of APIs using tools such as Postman or Insomnia to verify functionality and critical endpoints before they go live.

- Work collaboratively with the development and product teams to test new APIs, verify their correctness, and ensure they meet high-quality standards.

- Utilize JMeter for load testing, performance testing, and validating the scalability of APIs.

- Help define and implement test automation strategies aligned with the testing pyramid (unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests).

- Investigate and debug issues found in production, ensuring that defects are identified, tracked, and resolved efficiently.

- Contribute to the improvement of automation frameworks, test processes, and methodologies.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience with API testing and automation

- Proficiency in Rest Assured, Cucumber, and Java (or relevant language for test scripting)

- Hands-on experience with Postman, Insomnia, or similar API testing tools

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)

- Working knowledge of JMeter for load and performance testing

- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and Agile development practices

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
