Artificial Intelligence Engineer - LLM/NLP

About the Role :

This production-focused role requires deep expertise in agentic AI systems and enterprise Java development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and deploy production-ready AI conversational agents using Java-based architectures

- Develop agentic AI systems with advanced reasoning and decision-making capabilities

- Create sophisticated prompt engineering strategies for complex multi-turn conversations

- Implement and fine-tune LLMs and NLP pipelines for enterprise-scale deployment

- Develop APIs and backend integrations using Java frameworks

- Integrate virtual assistants with enterprise systems (CRM, analytics, cloud platforms)

- Implement advanced agentic workflows including tool usage and multi-step reasoning

- Ensure enterprise-grade security, privacy, and compliance in AI operations

- Document architectures, prompt strategies, and codebases for team transparency

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field

- 5+ years Java development experience in enterprise environments

- 3+ years agentic AI systems experience (agent frameworks, reasoning, autonomous decision-making)

- Extensive prompt engineering experience (chain-of-thought, few-shot learning, complex reasoning)

- Strong LLM integration, fine-tuning, and production deployment experience

- Enterprise-scale AI/ML applications beyond POC development

- Java frameworks expertise (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate)

- Real-time deployment and backend development (microservices, databases, message queues)

- Advanced NLP knowledge : intent classification, entity extraction, RAG, agentic reasoning

- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Enterprise security and compliance understanding

Preferred Skills :

- Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, LangGraph, CrewAI)

- Advanced prompt engineering certifications

- Front-end development (React, Angular)

- Voice/speech technologies and multi-channel deployment

- MLOps, model versioning, enterprise AI governance

- Enterprise software architecture and system design
