Role : AI Engineer Lead

Years of Experience : 5+ years

Job Location : Bangalore

Mode of Work : Work from office

What You'll Do :

- Design and architect the AI/ML stack, helping shape the technical direction of the company.

- Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) (e.g., GPT, Mistral, LLaMA) for use in child-friendly, emotionally intelligent interactions.

- Train LLMs on proprietary datasets , including voice/text transcripts, behavioral cues, and developmental learning materials.

- Evaluate and compare open source and proprietary models for performance, safety, and scalability.

- Build rapid prototypes to test new conversational behaviors, memory, alignment strategies.

- Implement responsible AI practices to ensure outputs are safe, age-appropriate, and align with child development best practices.

- Establish engineering best practices including code quality, testing, versioning, and MLOps for training and deployment workflows.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications, contribute to product roadmap.

What We're Looking For :

- Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving early-stage environment

- Growth mindset and eagerness to solve hard problems

- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML/NLP

- 1+ years of experience working directly on LLMs

- Proven experience fine-tuning, training LLMs and their optimization

- Deep understanding of transformer-based architectures, attention mechanisms

- Strong programming skills in Python with focus on AI/ML libraries and frameworks

- Experience with popular frameworks and tools (PyTorch, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, Weights & Biases)

- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their AI/ML services

- Collaborative mindset and ability to engage cross-functionally

- Passion for building safe, responsible AI for children and families
