Role Summary :

We are seeking a principal : AI & Emerging Technology Strategy to define and drive the next frontier of digital transformation within our capability organization. This role will act as a strategic thought partner and technical advisor to the Head of Functional Excellence and ADT (Analysis, Design, and Transformation), leading the formulation of a cohesive AI and emerging tech strategy anchored in business value, technical feasibility, and organizational readiness.

1. Strategic Technology Foresight & AI Road mapping :

- Develop and operationalize an integrated AI and Emerging Tech strategy that spans Machine Learning, Generative AI, Cloud-native platforms, Edge Computing, APIs, and automation frameworks.

- Conduct strategic assessments on the impact of evolving tech stacks (e.g., cloud modernization, data mesh, low-code platforms) on capability design, delivery operating models, and workforce transformation.

2. Use Case Architecture & Value Prioritization :

- Translate ambiguous business problems into AI-enabled use cases, leading ideation, technical feasibility scoping, and value hypothesis definition.

- Build and maintain a prioritized AI backlog tied to enterprise strategic themes, supported by capability maturity mapping and ROI-based phasing.

3. Portfolio & Capability Transformation Planning :

- Define the future-state capability portfolio, articulating shifts in tooling, data integration, automation layers, and human-AI interactions.

- Lead the design of AI skilling pathways, identifying role evolution, adjacent skill clusters, and cross-functional learning interventions for business analysts, testers, designers, and change agents

4. Governance, Architecture & Platform Integration :

- Define and establish robust AI and digital governance frameworks, including model explain ability, data stewardship, lifecycle ownership, and control mechanisms.

- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Digital Platforms to ensure AI solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, DevSecOps practices, and target-state platform convergence.

- Advocate for integration of LLM-based solutions, copilots, and automation scripts within enterprise tooling ecosystems (e.g., ADO, ServiceNow, SAP).

- Act as a bridge between business and technology, shaping leadership narratives, investment cases, and transformation blueprints

- Stay ahead of market shifts and vendor roadmaps (Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow, etc.) to shape composable AI strategy and build vs. buy decisions.

- Deep expertise in AI/ML concepts, model lifecycle management, LLMs, MLOps, and integration patterns in enterprise systems.

- Strong knowledge of cloud computing (Azure/AWS/GCP), edge architectures, API management platforms, and automation frameworks (e.g., RPA, low-code).

- Proven experience in portfolio rationalization, tech roadmap development, and capability operating model design.

- Ability to work with ambiguity, shape from white space, and lead cross-functional thinking in large-scale, federated organizations.

- Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, SAFe, and ITIL frameworks.

- Prior exposure to business analysis, quality engineering, or experience design practices is a strong plus.
