Role Overview :
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist who can ensure smooth IT operations for our rapidly scaling team. You will be responsible for end-user support, device management, access provisioning, security hygiene, and troubleshooting day-to-day technical issues across our systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and resolve laptop issues (Windows/macOS), VPN errors, and basic network connectivity problems.
- Provide support for BYOD mobile devices.
- Offer on-call support when required.
- Install, configure, and support productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.).
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and group policies.
- Work with MDM & EDR solutions (Intune, Jamf, Google Endpoint Manager, CrowdStrike, etc.).
- Handle IT asset lifecycle : setup, maintenance, tracking.
- Ensure devices meet security baselines.
- Handle PHI/PII in line with HIPAA standards.
- Support audit requirements and compliance documentation.
- Manage requests via ticketing systems (JIRA, Zendesk, Freshservice)
- Maintain SOPs and update knowledge base documentation.
- Basic familiarity with AWS/GCP IAM for access visibility.
- Ability to write simple Bash/PowerShell/Python scripts for automation tasks.
Requirements :
- 35 years of IT Support or Desktop Support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows/macOS.
- Hands-on experience with MDM, EDR, and SaaS admin consoles.
- Experience managing Google Workspace or similar environments.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (HIPAA is a plus).
