Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Archer Developer to support Archer platform development and operational risk enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with the RSA Archer platform, banking operational risk processes, agile delivery, and enterprise integrations.
Role Details :
Location : Remote
Shift : 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM UAE Time
Overall Experience : 10+ years preferred; minimum 7 years required
Archer Experience : Minimum 5 years hands-on experience
Certification : Archer certification is good to have
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, configure, and deploy Archer solutions including applications, workflows, and integrations.
- Develop and manage Archer APIs, data feeds, and scheduled jobs.
- Ensure platform scalability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Apply operational risk knowledge across RCSA, Incident Management, Issue Management, Action Plans, and KRIs.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Participate in Scrum activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story point estimation.
- Support backlog prioritization and sprint execution.
- Collaborate with production support, design, development, and SIT teams.
- Prepare and validate functional documentation with stakeholders.
- Support cross-domain initiatives, including willingness to cross-train in fraud risk.
Mandatory Skills :
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on RSA Archer build, configuration, and integration experience.
- Banking / Financial Services experience - mandatory.
- Operational Risk experience within banking - mandatory.
- RCSA, KRIs, and Incident Management - mandatory.
- Archer applications, workflows, DDEs, Advanced Workflows, and dashboards.
- Archer APIs, RESTful APIs, data feeds, and scheduled jobs.
- Archer role-based access control, workflow design, and queue management.
- ETL / data management experience; SSIS exposure preferred.
- Agile/Scrum experience with sprints, user stories, and backlog management.
- Functional specifications and/or low-level design documentation.
Preferred / Good to Have :
- Archer certification.
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
- Exposure to fraud risk systems.
- Knowledge of Archer web, application, and database server architecture, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant engineering stream.
