Role Overview :
The successful candidate will own the frontend architecture, UI components, and headless CMS integrations for the team. They will bridge the gap between design and technology, translating Figma/Adobe XD wireframes into pixel-perfect, responsive web applications, while managing dynamic content delivery via modern CMS platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- React Development : Build, maintain, and optimise robust, scalable web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Headless CMS Management : Architect, configure, and consume content models and APIs from modern Headless CMS platforms to drive dynamic frontend experiences.
- UI/UX & Styling : Translate complex UI/UX designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect code using HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling methodologies (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or SASS).
- State & API Integration : Manage application state using React's built-in capabilities (Context API, Hooks) and integrate backend RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Performance & Optimisation : Ensure applications are highly optimised for maximum speed, scalability, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO best practices.
- Code Quality : Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participating actively in code reviews and agile sprint planning.
Technical Skills :
- Core Frontend : 2+ years' professional experience in React.js, with a deep understanding of its core principles (Hooks, Component Lifecycle, Virtual DOM).
- CMS Expertise : Direct hands-on experience with any Headless CMS (Contentful preferred), including defining content models, localisation, and fetching data via GraphQL/REST APIs.
- Advanced JavaScript & Styling : Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (a plus), Tailwind CSS and advanced CSS layout techniques (Flexbox, Grid).
- Build Tools & Version Control : Proficient with Git/GitHub workflows and modern frontend build tools/bundlers (Vite, Webpack, npm/yarn).
- Testing & Debugging : Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) and debugging tools.
Education :
- Bachelors degree (Required)
- Masters degree (Preferred)
