Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization, and analytics. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing interactive dashboards, developing complex data models, writing advanced DAX calculations, and optimizing Power BI solutions. The candidate should be capable of working closely with business stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Build scalable semantic data models using Power BI datasets and tabular models.

- Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and calculated tables.

- Create and optimize Power Query (M Language) transformations.

- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources including SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, Snowflake, SAP, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.

- Design ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Dataflows, Azure Data Factory, or SSIS.

- Optimize report performance through query tuning, model optimization, and efficient DAX development.

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), and workspace-level access control.

- Configure Power BI Service, Gateways, Scheduled Refresh, Deployment Pipelines, and App Workspaces.

- Publish, manage, and monitor Power BI reports in Power BI Service.

- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

- Develop reusable reporting templates and maintain BI governance standards.

- Troubleshoot report performance issues and data discrepancies.

- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI.

- Strong expertise in :

1. Power BI Desktop

2. Power BI Service

3. Power Query (M Language)

4. DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

5. Data Modeling (Star & Snowflake Schema)

6. SQL (Advanced Queries, Stored Procedures, Views)

- Experience with Azure services such as :

1. Azure Data Factory

2. Azure Synapse Analytics

3. Azure SQL Database

4. Azure Data Lake

- Strong understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehousing concepts.

- Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace governance.

- Knowledge of Power BI Deployment Pipelines and CI/CD practices.

- Experience with Power BI REST APIs is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is preferred.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications :
