Software Engineer - Test Automation

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview:

We are seeking software engineers with strong automation-testing experience to set up and maintain automated testing for payments-related applications. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Java, Playwright, SQL, React, and API testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for web applications and APIs.

- Build UI automation using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, including testing React-based applications.

- Perform REST and GraphQL API testing.

- Use SQL to validate application data and investigate issues.

- Troubleshoot test failures, debug issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.

- Integrate automated testing into Jenkins/Jules CI/CD pipelines.

- Develop and maintain Java-based test components using Maven.

- Perform performance testing using Apache JMeter.

- Support testing in Kubernetes environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Payments domain knowledge.

- AI certification; please specify the certification held.

- Hands-on software-testing experience, including debugging.

- Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.

- React/ReactJS experience.

- REST and GraphQL API testing.

- SQL.

- Jenkins/Jules CI/CD.

- Java and Maven.

- Apache JMeter.

- Kubernetes.
