As a Business Analyst at Apptunix, you will serve as the critical bridge between our clients' visionary ideas and our technical execution. Based in our Chandigarh office, you will be responsible for deconstructing complex business challenges into clear, actionable technical requirements for our 250+ in-house experts. This role demands a holistic strategist who can analyze user requirements, document intricate workflows, and ensure that every digital solutionwhether a startup's MVP or an enterprise applicationaligns perfectly with business objectives. You will work in a high-energy environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and deliver impactful data-driven reports that shape the future of our web and mobile solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Requirement Elicitation : Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business and technical requirements.

- Process Modeling : Identify opportunities for optimizing business processes by documenting current "as-is" workflows and designing efficient "to-be" models.

- Functional Specification : Translate high-level business needs into detailed Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Act as the primary liaison between clients, UI/UX designers, and development teams to ensure technical feasibility and design alignment.

- Data Analysis & Reporting : Interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights and create impactful reports that support strategic decision-making.

- User Story Creation : Draft detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in an Agile environment to guide the development and QA teams.

- Stakeholder Management : Present findings, project updates, and solution proposals to stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and alignment on project scope.

- Market & Gap Analysis : Conduct market research and gap analysis to recommend cutting-edge features and technologies that provide a competitive edge for client products.

- Quality Assurance Support : Assist the QA team in defining test cases based on business logic to ensure the final product meets all functional requirements.

- Project Documentation Management : Maintain a centralized repository of all project documentation, including wireframes, flowcharts, and change requests.

Technical Requirements :

- Analytical Proficiency : Strong skills in interpreting data, identifying patterns, and formulating effective technology solutions.

- Documentation Mastery : Expert knowledge in creating BRDs, FRDs, and SRS documents using industry-standard templates.

- Agile Frameworks : Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to manage the product backlog effectively.

- Modeling Tools : Proficiency in using tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, or Visio for creating UML diagrams, Flowcharts, and Activity Diagrams.

- Project Management Tools : Familiarity with Jira, Trello, or Asana for task tracking and requirement management.

- UX/UI Basics : Ability to create low-fidelity wireframes or mockups using tools like Balsamiq or Figma to visualize requirements.

- SDLC Knowledge : A deep understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle, especially within a service-based agency context.
