About the Role :
As a Senior Tulip Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge applications that optimize manufacturing processes. You will leverage the Tulip platform's capabilities to create intuitive and efficient solutions, focusing on lean operations, seamless device integrations, and visually driven app experiences for our clients.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Translate operational needs and manufacturing challenges into technical specifications and innovative Tulip solutions.
- Integrate Tulip applications with various shop-floor devices, sensors, and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES) to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
- Utilize Tulip's visual app builder and other development tools to create user-friendly and highly functional interfaces.
- Implement and enforce best practices for lean operations within Tulip applications, focusing on efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and IT, to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members on Tulip development best practices.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing Tulip applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and capabilities of the Tulip platform and relevant industry trends.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed applications and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience :
- Proven experience in digitizing operations and developing smart applications for shop-floor workflows.
Technical Proficiency :
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement applications focused on lean operations.
- Experience with device integrations within the Tulip environment.
- Proficiency with Tulip's visual app builder and associated development tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational technology (OT) environments.
- Familiarity with data manipulation, database concepts, and API integrations within Tulip.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for advanced Tulip functionalities is a plus.
Soft Skills :
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
