Responsibilities :

- Build, customise, and maintain Shopify storefronts, themes and features.

- Develop responsive and high-quality user experiences using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.

- Customise Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript and Shopify APIs.

- Integrate Shopify with internal systems, third-party applications, payment solutions and other APIs.

- Build reusable UI components and improve the overall frontend architecture.

- Optimise storefronts for performance, scalability, SEO and mobile responsiveness.

- Translate Figma/design requirements into pixel-perfect, production-ready interfaces.

- Troubleshoot frontend, Shopify and integration-related issues.

- Work closely with Product, Design, Growth and Engineering teams to ship customer-facing experiences.

- Monitor and improve conversion, checkout and overall commerce experience.

Requirements :

- 3 - 6 years of experience in frontend/e-commerce development, with strong hands-on experience in Shopify.

- Strong experience with Shopify development, Liquid and Shopify APIs.

- Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design and UI development.

- Experience converting designs from Figma to production-ready interfaces.

- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.

- Strong understanding of frontend performance and web optimisation.

- Experience working on consumer-facing/B2C products or e-commerce platforms is preferred.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently own features end-to-end.

Good to have :

- Experience with Shopify Plus.

- Experience with Shopify app development.

- Experience with Hydrogen / headless Shopify.

- Knowledge of web analytics, SEO and conversion optimisation.

- Experience working with high-traffic consumer websites.
