Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant - Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning to lead and deliver high-impact Oracle Cloud SCM Planning implementations. The ideal professional will possess deep functional expertise across Oracle Fusion Planning modules, strong business process understanding, and the ability to drive solution design, configuration, and client engagements. This role demands hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud implementations, advanced planning processes, and cross-functional integration within the SCM suite.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Solution Design & Implementation :

- Lead and contribute to 3-4 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Planning implementations, focusing on Demand Management, Supply Planning, Global Order Promising, and Sales & Operations Planning.

- Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Planning solutions and define target-state business processes.

- Configure Planning-related components, including :

1. Planning Measures, Planning Analytics

2. Planning Graphs and Tables

3. Forecast Models and Forecast Algorithms

4. Simulation Sets, Collections Models, and Planning Profiles

- Define planning parameters, calendars, sourcing rules, demand classes, allocation rules, and policy parameters across the planning cycle.

2. Functional Expertise & Advisory :

- Provide deep functional knowledge of :

1. Global Order Promising (GOP)

2. Demand Management (DM)

3. Supply Planning (SP)

4. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

- Perform planning simulations, forecast accuracy analysis, demand-supply balancing, exception resolution, and planning performance analysis.

- Assess planning data quality, drive planning data governance, and optimize planning configurations for improved planning outcomes.

3. Business Engagement & Requirements Management :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document use cases, and analyze existing supply chain processes.

- Design and present solution workshops, CRP walkthroughs, and functional demos.

- Drive decision-making with global business teams and lead planning transformation initiatives.

4. Integration, Data, and Technical Collaboration :


- Integrate Oracle Planning modules with Oracle Fusion Inventory, Procurement, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Order Management.

- Work closely with technical teams to support :

1. Data migration using FBDI, ADFdi

2. Interface design and validation

3. Reporting requirements using OTBI and BI Publisher

- Analyze and resolve issues related to :

1. Planning Data Collections

2. Planning Measures & Key Figures

3. Planning Exceptions

4. Forecast Generation & Consumption

5. GOP promise results and sourcing logic

5. Documentation, Testing & Training :

- Prepare detailed documents such as AN100/MC050, functional design specifications, configuration workbooks, and MD50-level inputs for technical teams.

- Create test scenarios, system integration test scripts, and support user acceptance testing.

- Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.

6. Support, Upgrades & Continuous Improvement :

- Support post-production planning cycles, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure smooth business operations.

- Review Oracle quarterly updates, analyze their impact on SCM Planning modules, and implement required changes.

- Participate in upgrade cycles, regression testing, and release management.

- Recommend continuous improvements, leveraging new Oracle Cloud features, industry best practices, and analytics-driven planning enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8-12 years of overall experience, with at least 3-5 years in Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning.

- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud modules : GOP, DM, SP, S&OP.

- Extensive expertise in Forecasting, Planning Simulations, Planning Analytics, and Demand/Supply balancing processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to diagnose complex planning issues.

- Hands-on experience with FBDI, ADFdi, OTBI, BI Publisher.

- Proven experience working on multi-geography, multi-organization enterprise supply chain projects.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.

- Oracle Fusion Cloud Certification is an added advantage.
